Our Resort is often called "A Cut Above the Rest."   That is because we have the most facilities and activities per resident of any RV Park in the entire Rio Grande Valley.  In addition, our facilities are of a higher quality than the competition.  We also boast a fulltime activities director that insures everyone has plenty of quality activities and fun while staying with us.  

    Sometimes, however, it is hard to explain the quality of our facilities when our customers call us just to inquire about a space for the upcoming season.  Over the telephone, it can be a challenge to let our cusotmer know just how outstanding our facilities really are at the Resort.  When those who have not seen our Resort are looking for a facility to spend the winter in South Texas, the small advertisements they might see in trade publications or on the Internet showing our resort and other RV Parks really do not help them choose.  There is just not enough information.  Many RV Parks compare themselves to ours, some even match or exceed our prices while offering much less.  However, none can compare to what we offer in terms of facilities, activities and location.  Our photos below tell the full story

    One of our most outstanding features is our beautiful 20,000 S.F. recreation-dance hall that is complete with a stage for live bands to perform and our famous 10,000 S.F. floating wood dance floor where we hold weekly dances to a live band and host  entertainers from places like Branson and Las Vegas.  In this beautiful facility we have weekly line dancing classes, square dancing for beginner, intermediate and advanced dancer and ballroom or social dancing.  Oh, did  I mention that this huge facility is fully air conditioned, unlike the barn-like structures of our competitors, and has padded walls for superb acoustical effect.  Our granite bathrooms are found nowhere else in the Rio Grande Valley.  
                                                                    
                  

    Also specific to our facility is our renowned complimentary Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday feasts that our activities department puts on annually.  It is a big hit with our residents and a great way to get to know new people at our Resort, especially if it is your first year with us.  You will meet many friendly folk in our dining hall.  When dinner is through, you might sit in on Bingo, Horse Racing or Card Elimination.  On Sunday we have church services, complete with a choir.   On weekends, you might catch up on your favorite sport or the Superbowl on our big screen T.V. sets for your enjoyment.  In our foyer, you can sit and drink complimentary coffee throughout the day, play a round or two of bridge, poker, pinnocle or other card game.  This carpeted and relaxing room is a favorite for those wanting to visit with friends or work on the community jigsaw puzzle while watching all that is coming and going throughout the day.

     
    If you love the outdoors, we have plenty to do in the warm sunny winters.  Below are also photos of our beautiful salt water pools that are heated all winter to 84 degrees.  No other RV Parks have these.  Our customers love them and are appreciate of the extra dollars we spend instead of having the old-fashioned chlorinated pools that leave your skin dry with the after-smell of chlorine.  We provide ample sun and shade for those who love to enjoy life "poolside."  We invite you to join us in one of our pools or therapy spas for real Texas relaxation. 

  We have so much more at our resort, such as 12 shuffleboard courts, 10 pool tables in two separate pool halls, BBQ facilities and picnic tables, fountains and more.  In addition, our wood working shop and craft rooms are featured on other pages in this Newsletter for your review.  Our newest addition below is our new Exercise Room.  It is a big hit with our residents.
