Wow! When we first pulled in the lot was kind of empty. We soon had many friendly neighbors. Love the activities and the new friends we have made. We are staying for 6 months and trying to get some of our people back home to come and join us. Would recommend 100%!!!

Last year was our first year RVing. Boy, were we rookies! We had trouble the very first night and the neighbors just rallied around and helped us out. Such great people. After a month, we had fallen in love with the place and now have an annual site. We just can't wait to come down again to enjoy the company of our winter friends. See you all the first week or so in December.

Mission Bell/Tradewinds RV Park is the place to stay. This will be our 4th winter at Tradewinds. We have been to parks in two other states before coming 2 Tradewinds. The staff are all fantastic & the people are so helpful & friendly. We consider them our winter family! The activity director is a energetic lady that never stops amazing everyone with her fantastic ideas! Scot & Cynthia are the managers! They are both ready to give you a great big smile every time you see them & are hard workers who you know love their jobs & are such a pleasure to be around. They are always willing to help with anything you need! We hope to continue coming to Tradewinds for at least another 20 years!

If you are looking for a "winter home" this is the place to come. Mission Bell/Traidwinds Resort is the place you want to be. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, the activity director is awesome and the people are friendly. I was skeptical about living my retirement years in a place such as MBTW Resort but after my first year there I can't wait to return. We even bought a part model and will be returning earlier and leaving later this year. I am excited to see and friends I made last year and to make more this year. If you are on the fence and undecided where to winter......just jump in to MBTW.....the water is fine!

After experiencing our first time ever at a RV Resort, we choose Tradewinds out of the many available in Mission,TX Before we left we rebooked for 2013 with no hesitation, what a wonderful experience, it was well worth the long drive from Canada. We hope this will be our winter home for many years to come. Can't wait to see everyone again

Greetings to our Texas family. We are experiencing a rather cold and rainy summer so far in MN. Since returning north we have had to have a tire alinement (and replace two tires), and replace our large picture window over our dinning table due to something shattering it...both incidents on the same day. We have been saddened with the passing of Howard and Butch. Our sympathy and prayers go out to their families and friends.I have been researching new craft ideas to bring with me to share with everyone. We have been riding our Harley as much as dry weather allows. MB/TW offers so much for everyone. A person can choose to be as involved as they want. The warmth and care of staff and park residents are unbelievable!! We look forward to our third season in the parks. We would recommend the "sister parks' to anyone, and can hardly wait to return this coming fall to see any new park changes and greet the return all of our friends from '"the north". May your summer go well for everyone, and we eagerly look forward to seeing all of you soon.

We are Canadian Snowbird's and beginning our full-time RV life this year beginning in our home province of Nova Scotia as work campers for this summer. Looking at all the messages by RV'ers and how exciting Texas is explained by all visitors. This is now our hope to travel to your RV Resort this fall and winter season 2012 & 2013. Great to read all messages from Canadian's

After two winters in Trade Winds with our 5th wheel we were able to purchase a park model in the Trade Winds section of the resort. We could not be happier to call Texas our winter home. Folks made us so welcome, we have been fortunate to have one of the most dedicated activities director in the valley. The staff are so accommodating, management have bent over backwards to make sure that this is a choice location to spend the winters (or full time for some folks). We have become involved in park activities and feel fortunate to have made so many friends. We always look forward to returning here from Canada each fall. The cost of living in the Rio Grande valley certainly enhances the reason to call this area our second home. Those you who have not been for a visit in the past few years will be very very pleased at the updated surroundings in both Mission Bell and Trade Winds. You couldn't pick a better place to stay.Jane and Ken Barton from Ontario.
