Bob and I came to Mission Bell when we retired in 2008. We were welcomed with open arms and made many friends right away. We never danced so we took dance lessons at the hall and learned how to do the two-step and the waltz. After two years we thought we would look at buying a lot at another park. We thought ownership was for us. To make a long story short - we decided to come back to Mission Bell because the activities offered here were much more valuable to us than owning a lot in a park with few activities. Since returning to Mission Bell/Trade Winds we have sold our 5th wheel and bought a park model. The managers and staff, are wonderful here, not to mention being back with our great old friends and gaining many new ones.

Wow! BEST thing we ever did to get away from winters up north was coming to Mission Bell. We came seven years ago, have met the most wonderful, fun, friendly people & have friends we will keep for a life time. Our wonderful husband & wife teams of, Scot & Cynthia, our managers & activity director Audrey & her husband Mike make MB/TW the BEST place to be in the Valley. Lots of in park activities with fabulous restaurants, shops & stores near by. Great park!! Great people !!!

Larry and I are in our 13th year. What a wondiful place to be-MBTW. We love the family we have joined here and there is never a stranger. Every one waves and stops to talk. We have just upgraded from a 5th wheel RV into a park model. We are already planing on coming earlier and play more. What a great place to get out of the cold. Come to Missiom Bell Tradewinds, you will also love it.

We "discovered" Mission Bell nine years ago while travelling across the USA and have been returning here every year since. We love the friendly residents of the Park and local people in the community as well. Our dog would like us to mention that she loves her daily walks and feels welcomed by park management and residents alike. The area is full of activities for the physically active including senior softball, superb bicycling conditions and routes, bowling, beaches and much more. Mission Bell has superb amenities, facilities and endless sheduled activities which will ensure your stay here is carefree and enjoyable.

Over the last twenty years, three of my sisters and spouses, my brother and wife, myself and my wife have all called Mission Bell our winter home. It was good to reconnect after raising our families in different states and now being able to enjoy retirement at a beautiful, well managed, and well maintained park like Mission Bell/Trade Winds. We look forward each year to returning to the park to renew old friendships and to meet and make new friends. We are very blessed to be able to enjoy a park with all the activities that are offered plus a place to worship in our Fellowship Hall. Thanks again to Christina and Bob for all the ongoing improvements that they have invested in so that we can truly enjoy our winters at Mission Bell. Our invitation would be, "come see for yourself" and join us here in South Texas at Mission Bell/Trade Winds.

Mission Bell and Trade Winds has been our Winter home for three years, and hopefully, many more. We feel that arriving here is just like coming home. We look forward to seeing friends both new and old and enjoying the weather and activities. Great management, and facilities that are constantly being updated and improved on. The location in Mission is close to shopping and activities outside the park. A great place to be!

We decided to spend the first winter of our full-timing life in TX & needed to find a park. I choose MBTW based on the activities that Jon & I enjoy. He loves to play golf & I like to ride my bike + the other activities looked inviting. We were able to choose our site upon our arrival. The folks are so friendly here - a neighbor took us to Walmart on our first day here instead of just giving us directions & the next day another couple invited us to go to Mexico with them. What a welcome!! We are enjoying the activities & there's so much to do we can't keep up with all of it. We had an issue with the electric service & Mike & his crew addressed it immediately. Audrey & her hubby Mike work very hard to coordinate all the planned activities, deliver the mail, plan the dinners, etc., give Ryan & the other pooches treats & always have a smile for all of us! The hayride & Christmas caroling were great. Looking forward to many more happy, fun-filled times here. The entertainment starts next month & we're looking forward to that. To me another very positive aspect of this park is the number of folks who have been coming here for years & how helpful everyone is if anyone has a problem. E.g., 2 of the residents have had issues with their park models & fellow residents have assisted them. We also do volunteer projects for children in the local hospital, the RGV food bank & kids in Mexico. It's proving to be a great experience here - come join us!

What a great place to spend a few days, weeks, or months. We have been coming to Mission Bell for six years. Six years ago we were looking for a place to spend the winters, stopped at the office of Mission Bell, and the friendliness of the office staff sold us on this place. We have developed such great friends from all over the U.S. and Canada. There are so many activities we can not keep up. We will be coming here as long as we can travel. We recommend Mission Bell - Trade winds to every chance we get. Would not trad it for for the world.

Moe and I just arrived back at our Texas home and what a treat. Great to be back among so many great friends once again. The improvements to the rest rooms and showers are just wonderful. Then to walk through the two parks to see all the beautiful Christmas decorations is just so heart warming. And the Friday night jams are so fun filled. Great to have so much entertainment for free. Not to mention all the other games and golf that are available such as the card games, quilting, bocee ball, shuffleboard, and the pool hall and the wood working shop supplied with all the tools to build anything your little heart desires. I'm sure I left something out but feel welcome to come down and find out for yourselves.
